[ In-depth info. ] The country of Efith, divided into five states, the East State (wind), the South State (fire), the West State (earth), the North State (water) and the Capital State (the Mysteries). Efith is reigned by the Sacred Council that stays at the temple in the Capital State where they guard the mysteries of the elements and in communication with the leads of the four other temples as well as the non-magic senate make decisions for the whole land. In constant war with Reece, south of their borders.



history:
Originating from Lati, the same Reecian village, as their liberator, Timachus, Nyte was taken in the same raid that led the former slave to the Capital in Efith. She remembers the bravery of him. She remembers he fought. And then, she remembers he disappeared in the slave market crowds, only to reappear years later, succumbed. She herself was made a slave of the Ulos household, the only thing that kept her safe from her master's advantages his wife's threats to dismember him if he tried anything. She was taken in when she was only five and grew up alongside the household's youngest daughter, the same age as her. The two became as close friends as a mistress can be with her slave girl, sharing many experiences and secrets. Illane, the daughter, taught Nyte to play the lyre and she would serve as a house musician at feasts and orgies alike. All the while, Nyte would remember: she should not have been a musician at all, she should have been a horserider, the profession she had dreamt to pursue as a little girl in Reece.
